Work hard, have fun and make history with Amazon’s India Digital Legal Team. We are looking for a smart and motivated individual to provide administrative assistance to the team working with attorneys and contract managers. Responsibilities include drafting standard correspondence, assist with standard contract review, developing and implementing new and simplified processes, maintaining trackers, coordinating agreement approvals and execution, tracking documents, preparing and maintaining status reports, word processing, performing general office tasks (such as calendaring, filing and budget tracking), and coordinating other legal and administrative matters directly with the business groups / external counsel.
The successful candidate will possess the ability to work efficiently and independently; manage high volumes of tasks and projects independently; react with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require a quick response or turnaround; think creatively and be proactive in solving problems that affect people within the group or other related groups.
The candidate will also be client-service oriented, have great attention to detail while still meeting tight deadlines; have great organization skills; have the ability to easily multitask; a high level of professionalism; integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information; ability to work well and communicate professionally with people at all levels inside and outside the company.
- Candidate should be at least a graduate.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience as an administrative / legal assistant.
Strong with computer skills in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc. and other legal software systems for invoice, data and contract management
High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
Flexibility, enthusiasm for teamwork and a “can do” attitude
- Strong written and oral communication skills are a must, as is the desire and aptitude for learning new concepts on the job.
Legal administrative experience or paralegal training are a plus but not required.
