Who You'll Work With
You’ll work as part of McKinsey Knowledge Center team in Gurugram. And will be part of our global knowledge network, which includes more than 2000+ knowledge professionals who work alongside our consultants and clients to generate distinctive insights and proprietary knowledge.
You will work with McKinsey’s Service Operations Analytics & Tech Lab team at McKinsey Knowledge Center, Gurgaon. This team is the analytics and technology wing of Service Ops practice of McKinsey & Company. This team helps McKinsey’s clients from various industry verticals such as Banking, Insurance, Telecom, Hi-Tech, Healthcare, Transport & Logistics, Energy etc. on different Service Ops topics. This team focuses on the following 3 aspects (apart from others): Service Ops deep dive diagnostic, Optimization, simulation and other modeling modelling techniques, and Service Ops transformation.
What You'll Do
You will help solve complex client problems in Service Ops domain.
You will spend a significant part (70-80%) of your time working with the Service Operations practice and consulting teams in McKinsey and, at times, directly with clients. The remainder of your time (20-30%) will be spent in doing analytical work outside Service Operations domains for McKinsey clientele, which would include, among others, usage of operations research and statistical techniques for data analysis.
As you work on client engagements, (initially along with senior members) you will be running various analysis and preparing standard summary pages. You will occasionally serve as a full-time member on client service teams at client locations. You will support development and maintenance of team’s proprietary analytical tools/ databases and other knowledge development projects and you will contribute to qualifications packs and support creation of LOPs (Letter of Proposal).
You will create reusable knowledge products that capture the insights gained from McKinsey's engagements and changes in business environment. Lastly, you will coach and mentor junior analysts when appropriate.
