Conference Room Video Endpoint Solutions Coordinator Jobs Vacancy in Company Bengaluru Jobs Details:

Position Summary:

The Conference Room Video Endpoint Solutions Coordinator drives the implementation and support of Video-enabled audio and video service solutions to support EY business needs. Specifically, the person hired to this role will:

  • Plan changes in accordance compliance directives as related to deployment of new video systems. Experience with change management, trouble ticket tracking applications such as Service Now is desired.
  • Analyze technical usage and interact with EY internal business teams to capture business requirements and recommended changes to End User Technology Experience service owners, around usage of Surface Hub and video endpoints deployments globally
  • Partner with others in cross functional teams e.g. Facilities Management, IT Project Management and Skype and Video operations teams to gather requirements and coordinate deployment details of new conference room video systems.
  • Liaise with relevant vendors to assess video-related conference room services and solutions (in particular Microsoft Surface Hub, Cisco and Polycom videoconference and telepresence systems)
  • Recognize process improvement opportunities and plans the implementation of video network and endpoint configuration related changes
  • Monitors vendor activities in accordance with the agreed to project plans and business directives during the entirety of the implementation
  • Knowledge sharing among key stakeholders
  • Support the Video Conferencing, Telepresence and MS Surface hub leads on the creation of documentation and the definition of processes and procedures
  • Working with key stakeholders on service improvements around scheduling, reporting etc
Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Support and consult with partner countries and coordinate the ordering, installation and configuration of conferencing services
  • Drive the appropriate analytics, documentation, and project planning for newly deployed conference room video systems utilizing strong MS office skillset e.g. Excel
  • Drive the operational support model for deployment of traditional and skype video enabled conference room solutions
  • Proactively assist with managing aligned vendor services to maintain operational readiness in Surface Hub and Video services
  • Support management in the End of Service Life (EOSL) activities on legacy conference room video systems in accordance with deliverable dates for next generation services and best practices in the industry on aging of services
  • Proactively oversee business use and monitor adoption of Surface Hub and Video Service endpoints to identify new or emerging customer needs consistent with the service’s current and future support of IT services and processes

Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:
  • Apply consultative questioning, influence management and critical thinking skills to understand the current state and recommend viable solutions that are both effective and support the value to the business
  • Complex reporting analysis and creation regarding usage of the conference room video technologies utilizing multiple reporting platforms
  • Utilize knowledge of MS Skype, Telepresence, videoconferencing technology and other aligned services to make role appropriate decisions including the efficient handling of change requests and determine effective ways to address current service issues
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • Project well-defined consultative skills to conduct effective questioning, hone in on key issues and information to formulate ideas and materials
  • Present ideas clearly and concisely to all levels of the organization including senior and/or executive management
  • General understanding of Active Directory, enterprise level Skype and Exchange deployments and TCP/IP networking fundamentals.
  • Maintain an advanced comprehensive knowledge of conference room technology services as well as the EY Technology Services processes and the operating environment
  • Manifest a strong analytical and problem solving ability to escalate and negotiate complex and conflicting change issues, handle multiple and shifting priorities across a broad spectrum of operating environments and drive solutions that are both financially sound and operationally feasible
  • Maintain strong project management skills as well as basic aspects of network design and implementation to deliver projects on time and within scope.
  • Maintain appropriate knowledge of services and products of external vendor and suppliers in the Conference Room A/V industry to manage their activities in project deliverables
  • Develop an in depth and continuous understanding of EY’s business
Supervision Responsibilities:

The role is an individual contributor and is generally managed by the Telepresence, Video and Surface Hub Services Lead. As a result of specific projects under management, the role would be expected to influence peers, vendors, suppliers and others in executing the design plan of conference room based video solutions.

Other Requirements:
Willing to work in shifts based on the business requirement.

Job Requirements:


  • College degree in related technology field (Computer, Engineering, Science, etc.) or comparable job experiences

Approximately 5 to 7 years of experience in Product Management role.
  • Able to exhibit a progression of increasingly complex job responsibilities during the period inclusive of project and service management skills and service remediation techniques and planning. Additional experience required includes:
    • Knowledge of Conference Room Technologies such as :
      • Audio Visual devices such as Skype Room systems, MS Surface Hub, Logitech, Panacast, and Polycom
      • Wireless projectors
      • Room controller systems i.e. Creston / AMX Harman
      • Room reservation systems i.e. Dean Evans, Reserve, Enterprise Recovery Systems (ERS), Enterprise Management Systems (EMS)
      • Interactive Whiteboards including Microsoft Surface Hubs
      • Skype for Business enabled conference rooms
    • Familiarity with:
      • Condeco systems
      • Four Winds Technology
      • Digital signage platforms
      • Videoconferencing and Telepresence i.e. Cisco, Tandberg and Polycom

Language Requirements:
  • Fluent English
Certification Requirements:
  • Microsoft Skype certification is recommended
  • Relevant Cisco Video certification is recommended

Soft Skills/Behavioral Requirements:
  • Solid interpersonal and rapport-building skills
  • Adapts personal communication style to the style of others
  • Stays calm under pressure
