Responsible for achieving sales targets in the assigned state/ territory for phaco equipment and phaco accessories, pre & post sales planning for demo & application of phaco equipment and building relationships with internal and external customers.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Primary Functions
Responsible for achieving sales targets in the assigned state/ territory for phaco equipment and phaco accessories, pre & post sales planning for demo & application of phaco equipment
Building relationship with internal & external customers (Doctors/ KOL’s/ Distributors/ Peers/ Superiors etc.)
Developing new customers base
Working towards increasing our market share, monitoring competitor activities, keeping track of the daily working & reporting,
Handling customer issues and working towards absolute customer delight.
Ensure close working with colleagues in the region – and build lasting customer relationships to build on the phaco IB for ongoing consumable (IOL/ OVD) support from these customers.
Track phaco market-share in the assigned territory/ state and keep track of competition actions – to proactively ensure market leadership in the state/ territory assigned.
Close coordination with Regional Manager, other Product Specialists and team members for achieving goals, technical support and sharing ideas & views for improving efficiency in field & full utilization of resources available.
Ensuring 101% achievement of Annual Phaco Sales Targets. Ensuring 100 % Phaco
Sales achievement on monthly & quarterly basis. Sustainable Expansion & Development
Ensuring productive Demos, Demo to Sales Closure i.e. %age success rate of Demos – at least 25%.
Ensuring AR control of Equipment sales, preferably no outstanding in the market.
Developing sound product knowledge and continuously work on updating it.
Ensuring success of regular promotional programs
Ensuring penetration in the entry level segment and exploring the potential of the state.
Continuously observe opportunities to develop AMO business.
Sharing territory development plans; conducting & supporting participation in different ophthalmic conferences, CMEs, round table scientific meetings etc. in close coordination with RMs and other team members. Others
Ensuring timely collection of data and submission of analyzed report to the management.
Coordination with other departments for jobs to be done
A bachelor’s degree in
Optometry. MBA will be an added advantage
Degree Graduation/Engineering/Diploma/Optometry MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE Experience Experience Details Minimum 3 years of experience
3-5 years working
experience in sales with at least 1-2 years of experience in ophthalmic
industry/medical device/ healthcare.
