Senior Solution Sales Specialist Jobs Vacancy in Telstra Bengaluru Jobs Details:

Primary Objectives:

  • Technical design, engineering, implementation, planning and quality for cloud architecture globally with particular focus in Singapore
  • Provide technical authority to the business and global enterprise tier customers
  • Scoping and Evaluation of leading edge technologies in line with product objectives
  • Ownership of the customer design providing direction to operations teams both locally and globally
  • In-depth interaction globally with Telstra Global and Telstra Corp for Product Design and implementation
  • Manage technical implementation of new solutions
  • Ensuring the implementation of designs and architecture are created, updated and implemented correctly
  • Provide last line technical support to the business and enterprise customer
  • Provide assistance with creation of implementations plans
  • Change management and planning for projects, changes and implementations
  • Provide support co-ordination to strategic global customers
Primary Accountabilities:
  • Technical product design, implementation, planning and quality for Cloud solutions
  • Architect and design authority
  • Technical platform ownership and availability
  • Technical leadership of solutions
  • Support and ownership of infrastructure, both in region and globally
  • Support other regional operations centers
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Telstra product sets and available technology solutions
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of hosting and cloud solutions
  • Develop and advise on capacity plans
  • Carry out research on emerging technologies in support of infrastructure development efforts; recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness, profitability and infrastructure flexibility
  • Provide advice, guidance and direction to Presales, Operational and Service Delivery teams
  • Assist operations teams as required in major incident management and problem management

Qualifications and Experiences (E = Essential; D = Desirable)
  • E 10+ years’ experience in hosting with last 5 years in Cloud B2B environment operation at enterprise level
  • E Knowledge of the managed hosting/services
  • E Broad indepth technical skills in the technologies above
  • E Strong communication skills on a global scale
  • E Customer and internal contact and communication at Exec/Director level
  • E Technical leadership across multiple teams
  • D Current vendor accreditation in at least one technical discipline
