Department: Global Plan Analytics (GPA) / Global Plan Excellence (GPEx) Location: Mumbai, India Position Overview:
As part of the Product Value Stream Management (PVSM) capability building, the need to invest and develop a more robust analytics tool kit has been clearly identified as a fundamental basis.
The purpose of this resource is to improve the development of the analytical infrastructure. This resource will report directly to the Global Planning Analytics group (based in India) with dotted line reporting to the Global Value Stream Manager (based in the US) and work with the Global Value Stream Leaders across the franchises. Major Responsibilities:
You are expected to consolidate complex data and perform detailed analysis to identify trends and opportunities for global harmonization across regions, brands, and need states
You are expected to drive gross profitability by Laisoning with Global Finance to demonstrate data, perform various analysis, and build automated models for projects including but not limited to Baby Gross Profit (GP) Roadmap and Mega Restage financials/business case
You will have to build predictable Model for NPI (New Product Introduction) and Network Configuration Analysis. Consolidate database for COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) analytics and ensure readily available data
You will support in developing Analytical Model for capital investment and assist GVS team with ad-hoc analyses and presentations and communicate with identified partners as necessary to assemble and consolidate information
The applicant will lead creation of global Supply Chain analyses for Consumer Mega Brands and priority NPD (New Product Development) launches/ restages and develop recommendations for supply chain changes
You will develop spreadsheets, analytical models, and PowerPoint slides in preparation for Senior Leadership presentations
Qualifications and key competencies:
Education: MBA or Master’s degree in Advance Analytics, Statistics or Industrial Technology- Operations/ M Tech/MS/ Masters of Engineering.
Experience: Minimum 6-10 years of relevant experience in advanced analytics domain in any of the FMCG / Pharmaceutical/Healthcare.
Individual should have strong data engineering, predictive analytics (R, SAS, modeling, ML) is a pre-requisite
You should be proficient in MS-Office. Working knowledge of MS-Access, SQL & advanced MS-Excel knowledge (VBA and macros)
Excellent communication skills and proficient communicator (oral, written, and via email) with reciprocal mindset
You will be collaborating with cross functional teams with Dynamic functional/technical knowledge
Result-Oriented and ability to follow through on committed tasks
High degree of self-management, personal organization skills and discipline
Good ability to work in matrix organization structure
Good well-adapted with data owners and process owner across organization to investigate, seek, and demonstrate data to perform detailed and advanced analyses
Demonstrate high sense of urgency with all requests.
Deep understanding of the SC team and financial elements and processes.
Ability to connect the analytics with the financials and Supply Chain (SC) processes
