The Associate, Learning will work with a set of Fellows who're excited about implementing key bets identified with the Training Manager. They will also work with the Associate, Student Projects and Opportunities and a group of Student Leaders. They will gather data, evidences and artefacts, decode principles of excellence teaching and student leadership, document and share learning with Staff and Fellows across the city.
Bangalore with its 2853 students, 88 fellows and 180+ alumni is the newest city that Teach For India has made a foray in. Going into Phase 3, being a part of the City Operations - Bengaluru team would allow you to play a part in shaping Teach For India’s future in the city as we expand our impact to children beyond our classrooms.
Apart from the high alumni to fellow ratio, the rich ecosystem is a great opportunity for collaboration and learning. The City Operations Team leads the Fellows and Alumni of Teach For India in their mission to achieve educational equity. It equips the Fellows with the right knowledge, supporting and training them to handle challenging situations to drive learning in all our classrooms. The Team drives partnerships with school authorities who become an integral branch of Teach For India as stakeholders. The Team creates and leverages a connected network of partners and alumni to build and sustain the movement in the city. It forms the foundation of growth and success of the Fellows and helps them metamorphose into future leaders of the country. It helps them prevail even in the darkest moments to strive for a nation which we all dream of.
Collect data, evidences and artefacts from classrooms to decode teaching practices that lead to significant student learning.
Codify excellent teaching and learning practices along with the Training Manager and share with the Program team to ensure holistic learning across all classrooms
Decode learning and practices from the Student Leadership Project and Opportunities in the city along with the Associate, Student Projects and Opportunities and Training Manager
Lead the execution of and learning from Technology Project in the city.
Lead the execution of Transformational Impact Journey (TIJ) in the city and facilitate and feed learning back to the Training and Impact Team
Support the efforts on internal projects (like City Conference, Alumni Induction, Pilot Projects, etc.) and/or vertical (like selection, recruitment, matriculation, etc.) towards its intended outcomes. Also, volunteering in classrooms is highly recommended to understand the fellowship model better.
