Project Management Associate Manager Application Development Maintenance Jobs Vacancy in Hsbc Hyderabad Jobs Details:

Role Purpose : Scrum Master
The Scrum Master looks inwardly to the team and helps them to self-manage; removing blockers, and helping the team follow and improve their practices.
  • Ensures that Agile principles are supported by the relevant Agile practices, and that the practices do not become 'stale'
  • Coaches the team in Agile practices that they have agreed to, i.e. Standups, retrospectives, reviews and ensures that they are followed
  • Own and run the Scrum ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Retrospectives and Demo.
  • Creates a working environment where team members feel safe to raise any form of impediments to them
  • Guide and coach the Scrum Team on how to use Agile/Scrum and how to self-organize
  • Assess the Scrum maturity of the team and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity
  • Removes impediments to optimize work throughput of the team
  • Constantly works with the Product Owner and Business Analyst to re-prioritize the backlog as and when there are changes in scope or bugs arise or any issues surface
  • Facilitates raising of Risks, Issues, Assumptions and Dependencies and escalating relevant ones through the Project Manager
  • Helps the team update the physical and electronic progress boards
  • Generates and tracks team level metrics and creates visual controls/radiators for them. Communicates these metrics to stakeholders
  • Helps the team focus on continuous improvement, take responsibility for their actions, and mentors team members to become problem solvers for themselves
  • Continually identifies drag on the team's performance, and works with the team or stakeholders to resolve it.
  • Identifies and seeks to minimize waste within the team's processes
  • Facilitates ad hoc meetings with stakeholders
Attends 'Scrum of Scrum' meetings, if applicable

  • Translate communications and stakeholder management strategy and plans into executable actions
  • Co-ordinate and administer working groups and committees
  • Prepare/distribute meeting agendas/papers and document/distribute minutes and actions
  • Create and maintain stakeholder distribution lists, map to communications and stakeholder management plans and co-ordinate communications distribution
  • Represent data services in governance forums as required
Leadership & Teamwork

  • Work closely with the Data Services Programme Management team and Group Data Services sponsor
  • Interact effectively with your delivery team, GB/GFs, Group Data Services and IT groups
  • Co-ordinate input/output from GB/GF members of working groups and project governance teams
  • Support other Data Services workstreams in driving group data agenda
Operational Effectiveness & Control:


  • Manage workload efficiently
  • Escalate issues in a timely manner
  • Report status and maintain programme disciplines according to group standards and frameworks (BTF)
  • Plan and co-ordinate meetings, workshops and off-sites
  • Track overall costs within budget
  • Maintain artefacts on SharePoint in line with audit requirements

  • Maintains HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
  • The jobholder will also adhere to and be able to demonstrate adherence to internal controls. This will be achieved by adherence to all relevant procedures, keeping appropriate records and, where appropriate, by driving the timely implementation of internal and external audit points, including issues raised by external regulators, and internally identified IT security risks.
  • This will be achieved by adhering to all relevant processes/procedures and by liaising with compliance department about new business initiatives at the earliest opportunity. Also and when applicable, by ensuring adequate resources.
  • Observation of Internal Controls
  • Maintains HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
  • The jobholder will also adhere to and be able to demonstrate adherence to internal controls. This will be achieved by adherence to all relevant procedures, keeping appropriate records and, where appropriate, by driving the timely implementation of internal and external audit points, including issues raised by external regulators, and internally identified IT security risks.
  • The jobholder will implement the group compliance policy by containing compliance risk in liaison with Global Head of Compliance, Global Compliance Officer, Area Compliance Officer or Local Compliance Officer. The term ‘compliance’ embraces all relevant financial services laws, rules and codes with which the business has to comply.
  • This will be achieved by adhering to all relevant processes/procedures and by liaising with compliance department about new business initiatives at the earliest opportunity. Also and when applicable, by ensuring adequate resources.

Qualifications

Experience / Education

  • At least 5 years’ experience as a Scrum Master / Agile Coach in a software development environment Experience with data tooling implementation, in particular tools used to discover, analyze and report on metadata with valid CSM certification
  • JIRA/Confluence experience
  • Understanding of other Agile methodologies such as XP and Kanban
  • Excellent development background, ideally Datastage, Sql’s , Unix/Linux & Control-M
  • Experience of Scrum toolsets such as RTC
  • Experience managing teams, planning demand and managing resource capacity
  • Experience in delivering software in Banking environment
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Excellent mentoring skills
